KIA Beneficiary receives livelihood aid through DOLE

Bangued, Abra - It was November 16,2018 when operating troops of 41IB, 5ID, PA at Brgy. Liang, Patikul, Sulu encountered a battle resulted to one (1) casualty, Bryan Q. Apalin, a native of Naglibacan, Tineg due to hypovolemic shock secondary to gunshot wound.Cpl. Apalin is the better half of Mrs. Sharmine Crish L. Apalin, 24 years old, who is from Alaoa, Tineg. To assist the family who are left behind by our fallen soldier, the Department of Labor and Employment provides a Livelihood Assistance to Armed Forces of Philippines (AFP) and their Beneficiaries under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program.


       DOLE-CAR Abra Field Office provided Kabuhayan Starter Kit for Small piggery project to Mrs.
Apalin on July 8,2020 at Bangued, Abra.

Ms. Sharmin is now waiting for the result of her application in the Philippine Army.  She requested from the Presidential Management Staff to give her special endorsement for her application in the Phil. Army.  She passed the exams and interview already and waiting for the schedule of her training.  She expressed her deepest gratitude for the livelihood assistance that was given to her.
