KIA Beneficiary receive livelihood aid through DOLE

On Sept. 7, 2018 at 1:45 PM operating troops of 12SRC, 4SRB under 1LT Chrismar M. Laping (INF) PA while conducting focused military operations at Brgy. Kulambungan, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur, encountered undetermined number of civilian troops that resulted one (1) kiled-in-action Sgt. Lienar D. Bognot from Ba-I, Lagayan, Abra.

Sgt. Bognot is the better half of Mrs. Mary Ann Bognot who is from La Paz, Abra. To assist the family who are left behind by our fallen soldier, the Department of Labor and Employment provides a Livelihood Assistance to Armed Forces of Philippines (AFP) and their Beneficiaries under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program.

DOLE-CAR Abra Field Office provided Kabuhayan Starter Kit for Small piggery project to Mrs. Bognot on December 27, 2019 at Bangued, Abra.

"Nagpasalamat ako sa DOLE dahil malaking tulong na din ito sa pang-araw-araw na gastusin naming pamilya."Mary Ann said, she being left with three sons.  She expressed that she appreciates the P20, 000.00 worth of Small Piggery project Starter Kit which can aid her income for a longer time compared to a cash incentive.
