Baguio City, Benguet – “Nais namin kayong tulungan, dahil Pilipino tayong lahat”, noted DOLE-CAR Regional Director Nathaniel V. Lacambra CESO III, as he led the livelihood assistance awarding ceremony for four rebel returnees, last July 12, 2022 at the Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
PROCOR Regional Director PBGEN Ronald O. Lee along with members of the PROCOR Command Group, Deputy Regional Director for Administration PBGEN John C. Chua, Deputy Regional Director for Operations PCOL Benjamin DL Sembrano, and Chief Regional Staff PCOL Elmer E. Ragay, assisted the awarding and distribution to the four proponent beneficiaries.
The four livelihood projects amounting to P 119,069.00 include assorted ingredients, materials, and machinery for a “Milk Tea Business”; motorcycle parts and accessories, including fluids and tools for a “Motor Parts and Accessories Shop”; assorted swine/poultry-feeds for a “Feeds Selling Business”; and basic machinery and tools for “Vulcanizing Shop and Car Wash”.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 under the supervision of PCOL Joshua F. Alejandro, DOLE Baguio-Benguet Field Office (DOLE-BBFO) Head Emerito A. Narag PhD., DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) Focal Person Clarissa Lyca R. Vizcarra, and Livelihood Development Specialist (LDS) Christine Danica V. Austria.
